I dunno, if they redid The Searchers or Big Jake or Stagecoach or the like I'd be upset - or at least not as convinced. But really, I hated the first True Grit. It was awful.
Seriously, I had purged that movie until I saw this above trailer and so decided to watch the old trailer on youtube. Wow. Why did he get an Oscar for that? He should've gotten it for "The Quiet Man", which is arguably his best film.
Go watch both trailers and then tell me which you liked the best I think Jeff Bridges is a good fit and I'd like to see him play something other than the whining drunk - someone peed on my rug... where's my little boy... look at me, I got lasered into a computer.
