    I'm in Beijing, inside the city proper. I should be able to find many things, but sometimes it takes a lot of searching. It took me a month before I found a good model shop to buy metallic paint and matte spray.

    Edit: Oh, I have a big old corkboard in my apartment. Looks like I'm using that!
