Grognak, you incompetent fool. You're given the task to hold against a beachhead, and the suggestion of an assault against the space platform, and what happens? The Imperials have a foothold. You've lost a security detail. Did you think to send a scout ahead and count their numbers - maybe check to see if they have a dreadnought on board? Did you stall for the air support you'd requested? Did you consider maybe retreating and simply rigging the station to detonate? No, you let your men charge in, using the same tactic as every battle I'm sure. You're no better than those Imperial fools - blinded by their own dogma, and slaves to their overused, predictable strategems.
I'll bet you even fought fair.
At least you had the sense to leave a subordinate in charge and not die yourself, and as such we only have one renegade - who may yet be manipulated. As much as I approve of some disorder and chaos (and wouldn't mind a chuckle at your misfortune), having an entire warband deteriorate into infighting now would be quite a waste of resources.
Intelligence (write that word down, Grognak) indicates there is more here than a sea of Imperial dogs. It would be convenient if they could be leveraged for some end other than their own, wouldn't it?
Adapt and overcome. Do not fail the Powers at work here.
