    so. for hqs always use the hq rules or can you choose the monstrous creature bonuses instead? the avatar or daemon prince for example

    Sure they could choose either, but once you start taking them from one table all have to come from that same table (same as psykers have a choice). But I imagine that the HQ table is more powerful than the other, apart from the cover save benefit.

    Todd - do we post the challenges accepted by our group here, or do you want them sent to you first?

    We are still waiting for a couple of group members to check in, but for those that have decided I said it would be good to go ahead and contact the opponent to try and work out times and points for this week.

    Question on the lists: can we reduce the number of bodies from our original overall list to pay for upgrades? So for example, drop 2 guys take a special weapon? This way the points are still there, i.e. everything has been paid for. I know we had discussed being allowed to drop guys if we needed to make points work, but this is a slightly different thing.

    (basically, I realized that I forgot to add some options to my original list. In my case, these are not units that have seen battle, so I guess it would just be a straight swap in the original list that could just be permanent for the rest of the campaign, assuming the unit does not die horribly)

    I, too, would probably change some things in my big list. But maybe we should wait and have some "fleet reinforcements" phase every four games where we can redo say 5000 points of the big list?

    Reinforcements would be interesting. I had thought about allowing you to spend experience points to purchase reinforcements instead of adding skills. For example two units with 3 xp each, and instead of leveling them you spend those 6 points buying 'x' # of points of reserves. Let me think about it, and I welcome any input on how to best go about it, but as far as that goes I think that it should be done at the end of the turn.

    Still waiting on a few group members, but I guess they will take what they're given. Also, I need to make at least one change else we would have duplicate matches (based on the few we had already assigned) - will post that up here in just a few minutes.

    Also, regarding reinforcements - I don't need reinforcements. I just wanted to know if a say 250 point squad with 8 dudes can instead be a 250 point squad with 6 dudes and special weapons; same type and all - basically just since we allow decrementation already, and we allow swaps for different arms already, this is just wondering why we can't treat bodies above the min required for squad size as squad upgrades that can be swapped like other upgrades, because that is essentially what they are. No big deal either way - have other things to put in instead that is probably nastier anyway.
