Event
Each player gets one legal HQ choice.
Zombies use the stats from Warhammer fantasy. In 40K they are also fearless, subject to rage and are shambling (fleet) and poison (4+). In fantasy they are skirmishers, have poison attacks and are subject to frenzy
All players are considered to be on one side and the zombies are considered to be on the other side.
Deployment.
Each player deploys his HQ at least 18” away from any other players HQ.
Once all HQ are placed place all the zombie tokens so that non are within spotting distance of any HQ
Special rules:
Each HQ has a spotting distance equal to double its highest initiative.
Zombie tokens should be flipped over once they move into spotting distance.
All non psychic (or magic) shooting attacks must roll a d6. On a 4+ the shooting works as normal. Anything less and the HQ is out of ammo this turn.
Play 6 turns or until all HQ selections are dead.
Zombie tokens are continually recycled at the beginning of each turn from the center of the board.
The Winner: The last HQ alive, or in the event of multiple HQs alive the one that has killed the most zombies.
Optional rule 1: Dead HQs drop their war gear which can be picked up and used by other players. This will require each player to bring a war gear marker to replace their HQ in the event of his untimely death.
Optional rule 2: Dead HQs are now zombies. Drop all stats by 2 and join the hunt for the remaining breathers. Zombie HQs are always spotted and thus can be seen by any of the other players.
