    As a rule of thumb for most areas/gaming communities I find that not taking a "Lord" level speacial character at first is key. Outside of that, it is really only Teclis and the Book of Hoeth that people really get annoyed with. I would say, that if you stay within those parameters, you should be fine no matter the area/gaming community. I haven't had anyone complain about any list I've taken as long as those items are left out.

    croak sucks the proverbial Ghorgon dong in 8th since he stops himself from casting with his own special ability and cannot ever get IF.

    I also think that several morality plays have been done about Ghorgon dong too.
