A few things:
I think the test is mostly useless, except to find if you have included dice. The difference between an air inclusion in water and an air inclusion in air (when rolling it) probably isn't that big a deal. This test comes from golfers, testing golfballs, which spend a lot more time in the air.
Air bubbles disrupt this test-- all of my pips retained bubbles to some degree. That made it hard to get a good result. Testing all my Adepticon dice, most of them game up 2-5-- probably because the air bubbles on the sides with a lot of detail embossed trapped a lot of air.
Some of my dice sunk, so really we need a fluid with much higher density and much lower surface tension (to prevent bubbles) for a good test. That, or a really tall column of salt water-- then you could release the dice from the bottom and watch it reach positional equilibrium as it rises to the top.
Fancy, I'll have cash with me next time I'm at DL.
next week is the week of brian so sun-thurs is good
