If harlies use their detachment it pretty much means they can't use any of the other two large formations tho, just too many points. However, afaik chris and i are probably the only two who might run just harlies, and i won't be there.

The Skitarii one is cheap-- 2 Troops, and the units are cheap. But a CAD or base formation limits everyone's points, which is probably the intention.

Yeah, the Harley one is 560 base (and there is zero use to running harleys without upgrades) . They have two other formations that incorporates the base detachment, in terms of bodies, and one of those is over a thousand, the other is 770 base. I get the idea, but doubt it would cause issues to exempt a pure harlies list from the restriction. Most would probably ally in an eldar or de cad anyway.

Can we take allies / formations as same faction? example: Eldar + Eldar Ally / Formation
Allies can be 'Come the Apocalypse' ?
    Can we bring Titans?
Can we bring more than 1 LoW if it's Imperial Knights? Either as an ally or as a full force? Example: Eldar + Imperial Knight ally or Imperial Knight force

    Thanks!

Allies/formations can come from the same faction.

Come the Apocalypse allies are allowed but I will make fun of you for doing it and I may even bring a dunce hat for players that do it.

    No Titans

You may bring more than 1 Imperial Knight but that will fill your LOW slot. So, no armies with a Wraith Knight and a formation of IKs. That is just gaming the system and I don't want to deal with that crap.

Regarding armies that cannot access a CAD. Just bring you army, play, and have fun....just don't game the system or I might get cranky or crankier....whatever.

so just to be clear if your primary detachment cannot form a cad, it is allowed, see imperial knights, harlequins, and adeptus mechanicus for examples

however you also must bring a cad from another army who can

and if you brought imperial knights as primary, none of your other armies can bring a low
