The book is actually really ambiguous on whether the end times was official warhammer or campaigny warhammer. There was a huge thread on TWF which was split about 50/50 on whether campaign/official with quotes from the book and other sources for comparison and reflection. I am glad they clarified, it is unfortunate though they did not update the FAQs with the other questions that have been floating around for the last year or so.
