Nick, dude, Sam did reach out to you last Thursday in person, and you just laughed at him and waved your hand. And I've told you on the phone the circumstances behind his banning were bogus. Maybe you don't remember because it was in the thick of a conversation, but it did happen.
Like I said in the other thread, If I can put up with Brian's inane threats of physical violence, and trapper keeper insults: those who don't like Sam can put up with him. Especially since he hasn't really called anyone out by name with anything specifically insulting or harmful. Sam at the time of his banning wasn't specifically trolling. He complained that he was being censored, and his posts were edited. The same thing you said about Forum Members Behavior should also apply to the Mods. The complaints against Sam came from the moderation community, not the members, and because a few folks didn't care for him they effed with his posts.
EDIT:
If this is going to be a primary way for folks to distribute information about the hobby locally and participate in local events: or at least the way you intend it to be, we have to be a little more understanding.
And we're all grown ups, or at least most of us are, we have real lives that are far more important than this game. We should be able to talk through whatever it is that. (With the exception of Brain and I). Brain may never like me, but that's OK, I don't really know him I'm OK with some dude I've literally said maybe 5 sentences to in person not liking me). But guys like you and Cook for instance should get along, if you want to go on playing different styles of warhammer, fine: disagree on the core fundaments of the game. But as fun, friendly rational people there's no reason to have a goddamned spat. This message is for both you and Cook. And anyone else with squabbles germane to things as trivial as attending and winning tournaments.
We get in this mindset and we can't shake it.
