Thread: so... practical, or rule of cool?

I have absolutely no need for the Typhon before 2000 points. But I also lack a suitable proxy. because huge awesomo.

I'll have just enough set aside for the next FW order to pick it up, but I also need thud guns, apothecaries and the like for the starter elements of the army.

So my question is, do I fill out toward 1500, or do I just get the damn typhon out of sheer sweetness and slum it on the other stuff until I hawk more of my old chaos stuff?

Well, it is a Lord of War, so you can't take it until 2000 anyway so your gonna need 1650 points of other stuff.

But I say slum it.

I'll have you know I have 1400 points painted. Maybe I should get the Typhon. it's christmas and all.

If you get the Typhon, no one will notice that your other stuff is different or unpainted. It's like the hot chick with ugly friends, it will just make it look hotter.
