I think standard dwarf lord will still have a place. Especially some of the defensive kits can make him really a pain in the ass to kill.
Slayer lords are really nasty. I wouldn't want my character anywhere near them. I don't think a magic weapon does much for them, rather just go great weapon. Deathblow is so op!

runesmiths, I wish they were cheaper. I would probably take at least 4 since spellbreaking doubles just turn into spelleaters and need to channel.
slayer heros are decent, rather have the lord though. Deathblow is so op!
engineers straight nasty and at least 1 is req imo.
warriors: 10 points with GW is not bad.
quarrelers: 14 points with gw and can shoot might be better if you need the shooting.
thunderers: obsolete
longbeards: Ws and S for a hefty price.
hammerers: Only heavy armor, but str7 A2 on the charge is no joke.
ironbreakers: 5+ parry and str5 on the charge is nice
slayers: a little hefty at 12 a piece, but deathblow and the slayer characters are really good. I will definitely want to field some and will need a place for my dragon slayer to hide.
miners: a little pricey since you have to take 10min size unit for what they do. I rather have a gyro.
boltthrowers: better than they were, boltthrowers just don't do much in 8th...
grudgethrower: only s4 template now but still worth probably
cannon: went up but still broken
gyro:80 points of amazing imo, craps on units with s3 templates 24/7 can have 6 of them
rangers: scout with every weapon you can imagine. I would go these guys before miners.
irondrakes: nasty but pricey
gyrobombers: rather have gyrocopter for the points
organ gun: it cost 200 points runed/engineered up but it deletes units.
flamecannon: not as accurate as a cannon, could be nice vs beast of nurgle.
