    IG Season 2 rules

    3-list
    Fully Painted
    Single Faction(!)
    Prelim rounds and Gauntlet Rounds
    - Ok, Gauntlet Rounds sounds pretty amazing....even if I don't like 75 point games.

yeah, so, I won't have three fully painted lists by WGC....

Its a much better implementation, however.

None of the top IG players net list. The two guys in the finals were both faction pure. CoC and Cygnar. And really, only keith played eGaspy/eHaley.

huh, interesting. I hadn't even thought about them possibly changing up the format before WGC. Back to the drawing board! no eMorvhanna/Zaal combo this time

Seems like they had a number of high level players who hated the format, probably had something to do with it.

yeah I think i like the new format better. feels less like an off kilter format and more like a serious competitive event. multiple factions just throws things off in general, even though i think the effect was exaggerated by the people who didn't like the format. having the finals at a different point level seems cool and still not throwing the game off for high level play. I'm likely to play the same 3 list set in that as i do in masters, then have to figure out what to take at 75 points if by some miracle i hit top 4

Heh, yeah. I guess there is some consideration tot he 75 point list when making the three list. Like, I am more apt to play AFG over Hypnos since the AFG is perfect for 75 points.

    Jay ran Siege and eHaley
