Colossals - yes, that means exactly what you think it means!!! Apparantly they look mint. Something like huge mobile artillery platforms.
- All WM factions are getting a Colossal. And for once, Mercs do indeed count as a faction.
- I guess we no longer need to speculate on what those damage grids on the back of NQ40 are. They all have two damage grids and new systems. The S on the grids does not refer to Sub-Cortex, it actually refers to Super System which apparantly to control their turrets.
- 18-20pts each.
- FA2.
- They have two new Power Attacks - something similar to a Thresher that's restricted to either left or right arcs and a Slam that has no minimum movement requirement. They get +2" on Slam and Throw distances.
- They all have Reach. None of them have Arc Nodes (thanks Karyle).
- They are part of a battlegroup.
- Huge base size. Count as super huge (whatever that means).
- Models are six times the size of jacks.
- Khador Colossal is at Templecon so expect pics (thanks Taslon). Apparantly it's as wide as the Legion battle engine is tall (thanks ashmitch). Picture here -
http://twitter.com/#!/jamielpfringe/...698817/photo/1 from JamieP's twitter. From that angle it almost looks like it's a lego construct.
- Their names are Gallion (Merc), Conquest (Khador), Hyperion (Retribution), Adjudicator (Protectorate) and Stormwall (Cygnar), Kraken/Krarken (Cryx - thanks Khador247).
- Gallion has a grappling hook and a wrecking tower arm, Pirate themed. Adjucator looks similar to the Avatar with flamethrowers. Stormwall is kinda like a big Thunderhead.
- Mercenary Colossal is not contract restricted, apart from Searforge can't use it.
- First Colossals are released at Lock & Load.
