So, I started to strip the old nasty paintjob from all my models and paint them in my new color scheme. Here's my first Dire Troll Mauler. The light has made it look a lot lighter than it is, but you get the idea. I still need to highlight the spiny growths and paint in details, but the skin is done.

Thanks. I actually spent most of yesterday painting because it's mid-autumn festival, and now have about 50 points of Trolls skinned up and ready for details.

Did you ever try the Bomber/Blitzer combo conversion? Or does that require the parts that are currently lost in translation?
Yeah, with the upcoming Dire Troll Multi Kit, I decided to wait and go crazy with the plastic kit. I'm thinking two Blitzer Aces.

Yeah, the model was previewed at Comic-Con or something recently, and it looks like a Bomber with swappable heads, arms, and backs.
Finished my Dire Troll Mauler and almost done with the Bomber!
If you just did a simple black wash on the metallics, these would seriously pop. Looking good, buddy!
