Well, if you have them both armed properly and the warhound doesn't have any help, the reaver should beat the warhound every time. There's a good chance for a reaver to destroy a warhound, including energy shields in one volley. The warhound can only take down the 4 shields of the Reaver. Basically, there's a very good chance a reaver could take down another reaver in a single volley.
