I think 1500 is a good stopping point. I've had a great time!
I still need a 1250 game, so if anyone else does let me know.

Yeah, the build/play schedule gets to be rough, then add on life/work concerns, and it seems to have reached the point where it is a burden for some rather than fun (no judgement there - life stuff happens).
So where are we at? Can we reshuffle any uncompleted round 3 or 4 pairings so anyone that wants to can get caught up to round 5?
Looks like round 3 CRP/Hogleg are missing, but if Hogleg and Sid are both out now, I could arrange a match up with CRP for that (I played Sid round 3, so could just pretend that didn't happen or whatever).
Would it be possible/desirable to just have a mini-'tournament' on an upcoming Saturday/Thursday for the last 4 or so people to get a few games in?
Who is still hanging in there currently?
Also, as a next step, I would really like to talk to interested people about a loose-form summer 'campaign' of sorts. There are lots of oddball scenarios I would like to play and if others have similar inclinations I think we can collectively come up with a framework that allows people to participate to whatever degree they can.

I really like the organized play. I would really like to do a fun campaign. I have all kinds of fun lists I fantasize about running, but hold back because I'm pretty sure they would lose horribly. For examples, see the lists I posted in the narrative thread.
I did some dinkering around with where things stand for round 4.
If we agree to give Cook a pass on round 3 (was thinking 6 points as that is half the max and about the avg)
Then reconfigure remaining round 4 pairs as: Txplays&Cook, Jim&Matt
and round 5 as Cook&Jim
then people can get caught up and still not duplicate any matches.
Does that seem reasonable? Or is everyone burned out?
(Tyson & Sid, was assuming y'all are out at this point, based on previous comments)
Yeah, I think you have inspired me to run DA in the narrative. Need to tinker with some lists in the format given.
I like 'semi-organized', basically leaving some mechanism for people to jump in/out partway through. I really like some of the non-standard missions in the supplement codexes - and the altar of war stuff that I have seen. Don't want to shell out $50 for the whole book, but people can get their mission packs individually for about $8 (though they may only be for apple, which is a problem for me, need to double check that).
Will start a new thread on this soon (need to finish up semester projects in the next couple of days first).
We've got one more week, let's let Round 5 play out before we go changing anything. 1500 seems like a good stopping point. We can all take a break before the next deal.
I'm good with the idea of mixing the pairings for round 4 and can be free tomorrow afternoon fairly early.
So if that can work I can try to get those games in, but not gonna lie I'm way behind on my painting
Sloth, sorry I am late responding but are you still in/up for getting our round 5 game in? I would love to ... I can't make it this week, as I am finishing up stuff for Alamo this weekend, but I could get a game sometime next week in, and I would love to finish this out.
To what others have said, I have had alot of fun with this so far, and being a very recent returner to 40k, it has helped me to get to know alot of new people that I don't see on the Fantasy side of things. I'm sad that this kind of petered out before the end, although I do understand that life happens.
And Erin, I am all for a campaign of any kind, I think it would be awesome. When I first got into the game (a lo-oong time ago) it was through a map campaign that was awesome to be a part of. I really wish we could get enough people long-term committed to a campaign to do something like that again, something more than just a loose/informal one.
We wouldn't need a massive community commitment, because something like that would turn out just like this one did. We just need a small handful of maybe a half dozen really committed players who know they would have the time and desire to try doing something a little different with the hobby. We could have a relaxed schedule as far as a couple/few weeks per turn so that it isn't a burden on people with busy schedules even.
Anyways, that being said, I'm all for any kind of campaign we could get going.
