Happy Thanksgiving!

My brother is in town this week so we are playing plenty of proxy games at the house and I ran CSM for the first time.

I ran Abaddon, 4 of his special black legion termies, 10 Chosen, 10 Chosen, 5 Spawn, 5 Spawn, 5 Spawn, 3 Obliterators, 3 Obliterators, 3 Obliterators

I swear I heard that spawn were good to take, and by the end of the game 3 of them were still on the table so I was ok with it but I was wondering what the real word was? I know I could have taken Helldrakes but I didnt feel like it.

I realize you can mix things up at the HQ/Elite/and Troops slots for CSM but are Spawn and Obliterators worthwhile choices for Fast and Heavy in a CSM List? I know I could take 1-3 Helldrakes over the spawn so let's leave them off the table for now.

I actually had fun playing them...
