    I don't know which is worse. The fact this exists, or the fact it looks like it's going to get funded =\

    Hah, since I last checked they lost almost $1000 in backing.

    Friend sent me the link. He probably found it through the something awful forums. They were apparently trying to do the world a favor and start the rumor that the project is a scam thus preventing it's being funded so good folks like you and I could live in a world where there are no my little pony dating sims.

    It actually is a scam apparently. The guy who started it is part of a group called Million dollar Extreme that's kinda internet famous for pulling pranks that cost people money. he admitted it in some video that is ...pretty crass. Takes all kinds

    That would make me feel a little better about life but for all the people who pledged money for this thing.

    Very elaborate prank/scam.

    Maybe he just yanked all that art from deviant art. Someone had to spend time on that.

    Of course there's no way in hell I'm going to go to Deviant Art and search for My Little Pony art to confirm/deny.

    Sadly because I work third I have too much free time to research this kind of stuff. The artist in question (who is really quite talented) was paid about 400 dollars but withdrew her support when all the new information came to light. As for it not happening or happening...I don't ever judge other people for their fandom. I own a lot of worthless junk that's special to me and no one else. if some one loves MLP that much and it would make them happy to play a dating sim ...I nod my head and am glad the don't criticize my ridiculous large collection of non pose able toy soldiers, comics or uncompleted garage kits.
