i thought it was pretty good. solid comic book characters plot and action. catwoman was great, bane was awesome.

yes it has a big slippery conceit (how and why bane takes over the city rather than just destroy it, and the cooperation of the world outside gotham) but most of these movies do, and if you just let it go and remember why you like comics stories to begin with, it's a pretty badass movie.

unfortunately, and maybe it's just me, that piece of **** psychopath in colorado and his misdeeds clouded the experience quite a bit, just was on my mind generally in every fire fight. the ability of the arresting cops not to have put that dog down right there in the parking lot is amazing to me.

on a separate topic, i hate previews! they show you the whole effing movie. though who am i kidding, i was probably not going to go see that ben af-fllick anyway. seems like a big iran war drum to me.
