It says when you cast this spell you are removed from the board and may enter anywhere within 24" of your original location. If travelling with more then just the Librarian and a double is rolled on the scatter dice, you lose one model of your choosing.
My question is, if you have a locator beacon on the board, are you allowed to re-enter without having to roll the scatter dice as long as you remain 24" of your original location and 6" from the beacon?
Furthermore, on turn one, can you drop pod in with a locator beacon and then use that locator beacon on the same turn with Gate of Infinity. The only reason I ask is because the locator beacon rule specifies that the beacon must have already been on the board for it to be used that turn (i.e. if two drop pods are arriving turn one, one of them can't drop down first and then the other drop pod come down and not scatter using the first drop pod's locator beacon.) The only reason why I raise this question is because Gate of Infinity is used at a different phase of a turn then when normal deep strike rules apply. And since a drop pod comes in at the start of the turn before your turn's first phase begins it might be able to work this way?
