My first can of this stuff, Ultramarine Blue, worked great. It felt like using an airbrush. I was able to give my models a uniform coat and cut out a step of painting and go straight to detail.

So, I got a can of Goblin Green from Wonkos and it jammed up about halfway through my group of Salamanders. I thought this was a Wonkos issue as the date on the bottom of the can was 2011. So, I made a quick trip to Dragon's Lair and got another can of Goblin Green and a can of Daemonic Yellow for Imperial Fists. I also got a can of Citadel Spray Primer black, assuming it was the same stuff. The Goblin Green allowed me to finish the Salamanders but started jamming up, the Citadel black allowed me to get through my Skyshield Landing Pad and the rest of my black figures. I tried the yellow on the Imperial fists but it jammed up and delivered a somewhat inconsistent coat. On rd 2 a couple weeks later I tried to put a 2nd coat on and it came out really inconsistently.

So, I figured all of this inconsistency was again because of old "born on" or "expiration dates" on the bottom of the cans, so I ordered straight from Army Painter this time. A can of black. Well it worked the first time, but showed signs of clogging a bit. I tried to get it back out yesterday and prime some terrain but it really struggled. At this point I said screw it and started doing some online research.

The online research showed that some others had the same problem and if you looked at the bottom of the can it was bulging like it was about to explode or something. My cans did this same thing. So, I threw them all out and went to Wal-Mart and got a $3.67 can of Krylon. It worked great, never showed any signs of clogging, and makes me look forward to priming again.

So, my story to tell is go to wal mart and get the Krylon and save yourself the money.
