    40k Campaign Ideas/Interest/Suggestions 2015

Anyone else interested in trying to actually get something going with campaign this year? I really like the idea of some of the echoes of war missions and think something can be adapted from those.

Anyway, just trying to see if there is enough interest to put in the effort of planning something.

Chime in please with all suggestions.

Also, please take the survey so it is easier to compile the feedback:

I've been thinking it is time for an escalation league/campaign

I would love one to help me get back into it, but if it started too soon, I'm 6-8 weeks from having my force playable .

If people are interested, it will still take a while to figure out specifics and plan. Sounds like an escalation league vote there.

I was thinking a pyramid league and I'd be happy to organize it.

A pyramid league runs for a fixed amount of time-- I was thinking six weeks. Every player that registers for the league is shuffled into a pyramid formation. Each week you can challenge someone on a tier higher than you. If you win, you switch spots. At the end of the six weeks, person on top is the winner and we start over.

    What would the rules be?

I was thinking 1500 points, Eternal War missions, roll randomly from the book (unless you both can agree on which one to play).

I think that would be fun, too. I'd still like to see an escalation league/campaign. It would motivate me to paint these Korne Berzerkers.

An escalation league would interest me, but more than the pyramid thing, what I would find really interesting and I think would be good for us, would be doing an old school style map campaign, with character progression and all of that good stuff. That was what drove a lot of play and built some great friendships when I first got involved in the hobby nearly 20 years ago back in Houston.

How about we start small? Bigger campaigns work better when we're a little more organized.
