This will be relevant: condemner boltguns.

Totally relevant for Sunday. I wanted to get a ruling now that I remembered to ask and have it up on Sunday. Although I may have to ask on Sunday since the judge is... Occupied.

If a unit that is joined by a model with the pysker rule takes a hit from the Condemer Boltgun, does it:
A: Apply perils of the warp to a random psyker in the unit in addition to the s5 hit.
B: Apply perils of the warp only on a precision shot.
C: (The odd one): apply perils to ALL psykers in a unit unless they have brotherhood of psykers?

or D: not matter because condemnor rounds make khorne laugh while he's collecting ladyskulls?

We talked about this a bit a couple of sundays ago.

Psi-Shock: Any unit with the Pskyer, Brotherhood of Psykers or Psychic Pilot special rules that is hit by a weapon with this special rule suffers the Perils of the Warp in addition to any other damage.

Since none of those three rules transfer from IC to unit, the perils would occur on a model after a shot that was allocated to a psyker, either through it being closest, a look out sir, or a precision shot that wasn't look-out-sir'ed away, etc. Since it's all one unit, you'd suffer one perils on whomever was determined to be hit (in the case of people who aren't BoP). That's how I'd do it, and Chris can obviously disagree with me, but the RAW alternative to that is that a librarian in a unit of tactical marines can never be hurt by it until all the tactical marines are dead, because tactical marines do not have any of those rules.

It's such a weird situation since you do not allocate hits unless you precision shot, you merely allocate wounds. Which makes the whole, "Look out sir!" thing kind of... pointless since the psyker is the one hit although a wound goes elsewhere?

I dunno I just want whatever the judge says. I'm not overly worried about the whole screamerstar or that one jackwagon in a space marine unit. I'm just happy with the ability to screw over tyranids even MORE than I did before. Oh and LoC's.

That's a fair point, though if you just care about LoC's, the point is moot, and they'll eat a perils when you hit. Nids, I think the only guys this ruling has bearing on are brood lords and tyrants with a tyrant guard unit. Can Alpha's get psychic powers?

I forgot about the allocation difference. based on that, you'd never get to trigger the perils even with precision, because the unit is still a tactical squad, not a tactical squad with a librarian, in the above example.

B: If they are the closest model or the precision hit sticks. The psyker has to actually be hit by the bullet, not just happen to be in a unit hit by the weapon.

This makes little sense though..... Here's why:

When you shoot at a unit with any given weapon it is the unit that is hit, not the particular model/s. Once you determine the number of hits the unit suffers you roll to wound rolls. Once you have the number of wounds you then create wound pools based off of strength, AP, etc. The wounds from each respective pool is what is then allocated to individual models through LOS restrictions, look out sir, or taking the wound on the next closest model. So since the wound says hit, I think we would place it against the unit, since the unit is what is hit......

We played it in a literal sense this past Sunday.

If the psyker was actually "hit" (aka: precision shot, closest visible model) then he took perils, even if his unit could LoS! The actual S5 wound off him. The only time the guns were used was on tyranid MC's but I feel this is a "fair" way to keep me from murdering the hell out of a librarian.

Guess you'll need to make your own FAQ if GW doesn't for railhead eh?
