May 1 Warhammer 40K Team Tournament Doors Open at 10:00 Dice Roll at 10:30, $5 entry

900pt per player, Single CAD( Exceptions made for armies without a CAD) , no LoWs, no Gargantuan Creatures, no Allies, no formation rules.
Pairings are random, Your partner is treated as an Ally of Convenience.

The object was not to eliminate WKs, I'm just shaking things up a bit and having a tourney with simpler list building by using one source.

Agreed. I can't seem to keep any momentum painting my 30k army because every few months I have to switch back to 40k in order to be ready for a tournament. A proper 30k event would be awesome!

HMMmmmmmmmm.

i get it, but i only have so many weekends.. Or we could put on our big boy pants and figure out why fighting an invisible, 2+/3+, re-rolls save, teleporting death star that uses 3 codex's is fine. But taking marine without ATSKNF is apparently the end of the world. Alamo is letting them in, we should open up our hearts and let them in as well.

or that Dark Angels/Space Wolves armies are A-Ok fluff wise, or Dark Eldar w/ Tyranids

but a setting with multiple stories involving time travel and immortal beings and warp travel itself cant have marines from a different era cause its unfluffy

You know I play and love 30k. I love it for all the ways it is different than 40k. Personally I am not really worried about fluff or balance; I am worried about keeping it a distinct thing which is not tainted by the grossness that is current 40k. For me, I can't really even understand why you would want to do it, but more power to you.
