Naw, that just adds D3 to the result on the already rolled dice. Yeah it can be used after you throw 6 dice, but if you were throwing 6 dice the extra D3 isn't going to do much.
As for the Warpstone tokens, those cannot be used to get higher than 6 dice for a spell (FAQ). In ET they may (read: will) allow you to go above the number rolled as long as it isn't a 6.
