Just wanted to pick the brains of the centex folks on the stormraven, specifically, the blood angels variety. I see some discussion online about holding it in reserve or starting on the board if you get 1st turn, then moving flat out with it 1st turn to get the cover save, and planning on launching the mega assault in turn 2. That seems folly to me, as I use it for transporting a foot assault squad as well as a furioso, and even the low odds of getting wrecked after moving flat out seem too high for losing so many points in one package.

The few games I've played with it I've only had the balls to hold it in reserve and deep-strike it on a flank, shooting the TL lascannon and mmelta at attractive targets and waiting until the next turn to unleash the passengers, when it survives. If the opponent concentrates on the raven and brings it down, that's just less shots to be fired at the passengers.
