General Kael was once a great warrior in the armies of Lahmia and served under Aborash as a human. After Aborash became a Vampire and and defeated a Great Dragon, he sent his disciples, the Blood Dragons to go out into the world and not return to him until they have defeated a worthy foe. Kael hopes to sate this thirst for blood and battle and be worthy of his former master in Estalia.

Ivan was a great human wizard whose passion of the arcane became an obsession. He started as gifted student of the Imperial College of Amethyst Magic and rose quickly. Yet his studies were not enough. He would break into the forbidden sections of his colleges libraries and the libraries of other schools to gain more power. He learned of the magics of the warp, learned to move mountains and dry seas. Yet despite all of reaseach, he could not conquer the one enemy he sought the most to defeat, death itself. He sought to cheat death and went to the only being that had, The Dark Lord Necrotis. There, Necrotis gave him the gift he sought. "The only to conquer death is to become death itself", Necrotis said to him. He gave him the Blood Kiss and gave him the dark gift of vampiric unlife. Now, Ivan has all of eternity to study and master the arcane arts he so desperately craves.
