GW Annual Report for those interested in that sort of thing

    http://investor.games-workshop.com/w...al-website.pdf

    This preamble just sounds stupid.

Tom Kirby, chairman and acting CEO of Games Workshop said:
“Games Workshop has had a really good year.
If your measure of 'good' is the current financial year's numbers, you may not agree. But if your measure is
the long-term survivability of a great cash generating business that still has a lot of potential growth, then you
    will agree.”

    Heh:

"In the technological world we occupy there is constant debate over who 'innovates' and who merely copies. We have, this last year,
spent an indecent amount of your money trying to stop someone stealing our ideas and images. It is a very difficult thing to do when it is
done through a legal system designed to prevent people stealing hogs from one another. Our experience has probably been typical of
most – far too much money spent on far too little gain. The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit, lose everything that
we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going."

Read: Chapterhouse kicked our ass in court, so I'm going to blame them, the court system, and everything possible - except our own bullying attitude and our incredibly inept lawyers. I might blame the lawyers next year, though, after we lose the appeals.

Not to mention this is clearly a weak attempt at deriding the USA by calling our legal system a mere preventer of HOG stealing. 'Merica!!!!

"Our market is a niche market made up of people who want to collect our miniatures. They tend to be male, middle-class, discerning
teenagers and adults. We do no demographic research, we have no focus groups, we do not ask the market what it wants. These things
    are otiose in a niche"

I like to play the game more than collect the miniatures. In fact, I'm not really too concerned about what company I buy my miniatures from... I guess GW would know that if they did some demographic research or had a focus group or something...

That's got to be a britishism for people who are fickle, easy to anger, never forgive, and don't use common sense.
