    Coal & Claw Weekend 2014 - Jul 25-27th

It is my pleasure to announce Coal & Claw Weekend 2014, 25th-27th of July! We are back with a new website and a new venue! I am extremely excited about this years events and venue spacing as well and you may have heard a trickle of babble from me about it.

This year we will be at the MCM Elegante Hotel (2330 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75220), right by Northwest Hwy & I-35 E. We have a 10 room block reserved for Coal & Claw so book your hotel now and FAST. The hotel is actually slightly overbooked as a family reunion on Friday ballooned to an unexpected size so there are no further available rooms! Give MCM Elegante a call at 214-351-4477 and refer to Coal & Claw Weekend to book. Rate should be $79.95/night.

Not to fret though, there are several other hotels in the area:
SpringHill Suites - Dallas/NW Hwy - Right next door at 2363 Stemmons Trail, Dallas, TX 75220
    214-350-2300
Holiday Inn Express - Dallas/Stemmons Fwy - Across the street at 2287 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75220
    1-888-465-4329

Please note that we do not have room rates for those.

    Some event updates:
    1. This year we will be supplying most basic items and models for the Master Bodger event.
    2. Check the website for the painting competitions. Entry deadline is 6 PM Saturday. Judging will be done THAT EVENING.
    3. Bride's Maids will be run using SOS this year. It is two casters but the FA for solos/units/warbeasts is still only 1/1/1, with filling in the rest of the points with warbeasts (cannot double up).
    4. Hardcore is FULLY PAINTED & BASED REQUIRED!

    Masters Eligibility:
We will be taking top players from tournaments for Masters. Unless the size increases appreciably, it will be 16 players coming from:
    1. Top 6 Players from Hardcore (that do not drop).
    2. Top 8 Players from 42 Pt SR 2014
    3. Top 2 Players from Shedding Tiers.
    4. 3rd & 4th from Shedding Tiers will be First & Second alternates.

Registration is live. Unfortunately entry fees had to increase this year as Gunslinger Games gave us space for free the past two years. However, everything that comes in comes out as prize support and/or swag!
A full weekend pass is $55.00 and is available until July 4th.
    Friday only - $30.00
    Saturday only - $30.00
    Sunday only - $15.00
    Painting Competition only - $15.00

If you are interested in running a non-Warmachine event in the evening, please contact myself or Donesh to discuss the possibility and space. If you are interested in volunteering to help run a WM/H event, please contact us as well.
