Its true I actually won 1/3 games!

Lesson of the day. Don't fly through asteroids with a 40 point ship with critical damage that takes extra damage from doing so.

In the couple of games I played with my kid, my ships seemed to be drawn magically to all asteroids as I hit several!

I started reading about the squadron points. What's the typical amount you guys play there, 100 points? I bought 2 core sets, so at the moment own 4x tie fighters 2x x-wings. I plan to get more moving forward, but was wondering what a typical amount is when yall play casually?

As Brandon said, it's quite newbie friendly. If you have less than 100 points, people will adjust their list accordingly.

    You mean there's "community building"?

I'll be there this week. Anyone for a big ship game?

Yea getting tired waiting on the stupid thing (Raider) to come out already.
Tuesday night there is a pilot academy at Madge Sanctum. Starts at around 5:00ish.
Veteran players work with newbies in a very relaxed fun atmosphere.
I am even winning games now. There regular night is Wednesday but you can pretty much get a game
in any night of the week. They have a tournament this Saturday if I am not mistaken.

Mage's Sanctum is having an escalation tournament (60-90-120-150) this Saturday. They're usually a lot of fun.
