Cthulu model ideas?

I am doing a Cthulu count as army for Fantasy, probably VC and demons. So far I have:

I am wondering what I should do for a mortis engine/skull cannon. Should I just do a giant octopus with a big demonish looking weapon? Maybe a beholder?

You could cast those green models really easy and cut down a lot of cost. They are just one part molds.

The chaos tentacle monster kit would work for cannons or the engine. It won't need much conversion.

FFG makes a big cathulhu monster that you could use also.

Alright I need something for horrors/2nd infantry option I think... I could just paint the different little cthulu a different color. hmmm.

I am really into this army and just got some of the models in the mail today. I want to do swamp bases. Something like a black liquid look. Any ideas?

Cthulhu Wars is going to have a ton of miniatures in the box...I suspect some of them would work for your project.
