    ITC Poll is Up

I enjoyed the vote. I think a common theme in my votes was, don't rewrite the rules and don't adopt the GW FAQ. I liked the questions and thought they were very important as opposed to some of the past polls.

I voted the same way except when it comes to those Drop Pod doors. Ignoring the doors makes sense life much easier. But whatever. I don't think it will ruin my fun one way or another

Seriously, don't adopt the GW FAQ? Why not?
Malory: Jesus, God, Sterling. School girls?!
Archer: Oh, those are just costumes.
Malory: And I suppose that makes it better?
    Archer: Doesn't it?

I don't agree with every ruling in the ITC FAQ but I support the effort and am fine with using their rule set as a whole. Until the GW FAQ is official I will not use any of it. If the GW FAQ becomes official just as it is now, I expect ITC to over rule it in some cases...

For instance I don't agree that only one model may use a grenades in combat, however I can live with that because it doesn't affect that many units, and there are still other ways to hurt vehicles exc. I would not want ITC to over rule that even though I disagree.

The drop pod issue on the other hand, I would want ITC to over rule. We should ignore the doors because it makes things so much simpler in tournament games.

Drop pod doors being counted is silly. I have no desire to play the rules like that. The grenade change I like, and the potential for melee walkers to not get grav'd into uselessness is nice too.

I would actually like to see Grav's immobile effect removed completely. Basically makes land raiders unplayable.

Really.. i just want to go back in time and remove it from the game entirely.. but ill take what i can get.

Land raiders just need to be Spartans. There was a time when the land raider was amazing and had a number of special rules that made it very powerful. Grav is too good and Eldar have too much ranged D for the land raider to exist today.

i did not realize the reason they put the ask about the walkers reducing immobilized to weapon destroyed was because of grav. i will admit one wound to immobilize and two to do three hp is a problem, but i think we have worse things to address, but i like maulerfiends and it appears this would help.
