    My Salamanders so far.

Here's what I've painted over the last two weeks or so. This and a stormtalon. It's not quite going unit to unit, but I've made some pretty good progress on finally getting paint on my marines.

Nice. What are you going to do for basing?

Say it was night time and it's dark out, so you can't see.

You know, as I looked at them I thought that the black actually works for that army. Just touch up make sure it is all black. Although I'd be interested in seeing what a little gloss medium on the base would look like, just to dress it up a little.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm happy to get on them. The next step is decaling shoulder pads, and vehicles. Honestly, kinda not happy bout that because I've always had trouble making those work for me. So.... If any of y'all have tips, I'd appreciate it. And the bases, I'll get to them.

This should help you with decals:

If I tell you, "You're wrong," you'll need to click this.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

Looks good but I'd recommend a different color for the plasma pistol vents. Red or purple are popular choices.

I'll probly touch up the plasma pistol again. It was brighter and less evenly blue, and I touched it with a blue wash and that made it look the same as the armor
