So, supposedly the Adeptus Astartes are up next for the new Codex treatment with a three week release rumoured. Supposed new kits to include Assault squad box and new Devastator box. I'm Excited for that, as despite having just finished 4,000 points of marines I haven't picked up any of either yet and I wasn't real fond of the old devs.
What's wrong with either kit except for the lack of 30k bitz...

I just found that the assault marines look kind of dinky and dated compared to Vanguard Vets.
Yeah, that Assault kit is old. I'd be disappointed if they didn't get grav pistols in the new kit.
I hope they get dual wielding grav pistols and relentless....and 2++ jink saves.

Well if all the new kits come out with adjusted 32mm base size. Then we will know for sure they are moving towards that in the future. Right now, it was just for the BA tactical set. It makes sense but its still grey for a lot of people. Hopefully they do as I think the base size makes the models look better overall.

I hope they're going forward with the T4 models on 32mm. It just looks so much better.
I'm keeping my scouts on 28mm bases. I think they would look smaller on 32mm.
