When are they? Could do a two week round when you play one and paint one.

There is one this week and it's every other week. I like the Play/Paint idea.

With an Escalation league the idea is to paint/build as you go.

Maybe your painter could shift emphasis to the units you need first. I know I have done that for people in the past.
