I know it's light on models, but it's also actually light on my wallet, which I'm finding my IW to not be. Also I've become steadily more loyalist since I picked up chaos in 2nd edition, and I'm really feeling the aquila's pull on me here as well. I might play with the dreadnought weapons a bit, but that's just a gun swap since the models are already painted and magnetized. For 3k, I'm thinking a contemptor talon and a lot more boots, maybe some speeders for fast hitting anti tank too.
My narrative is that my GC is almost entirely Terran-born and pre-Russ, though they have taken many of the typical traits of the SW legion after his discovery. Due to being primarily terran and a little resistant to integration with the Fenrisians, the company suffers from depletion, leaving a smaller force of hard-hitters. This will let me get my force painted sooner, and my sun wolf emblem will look right at home as the emblem for a company that bears the wolf's head, with the sun as a nod to their heritage from the sol system.
Though my Praetor is certainly in Russ' good graces, his terran birth has made for good camaraderie with the Imperial Fists, and his GC assists the Fists in their expeditionary missions, as go-to units for trench fighting and other close-in dirty work once an enemy fortress is breached. As such, the order to move to Prospero never reaches him in time, and he recalls with the rest of the Fists to Terra prior to the siege. (Getting me into any such narrative battles I might want to participate in. )
