Despite having most of the core members/frequent posters from AMM, there is minimal activity here.

    Why?

AMM always slowed down around this time of year too. it's just 'cause it's the holidays. it's still never as busy as AMM was... don't know why moving to a new board made things quiet all of a sudden...

Because. It wasn't just the fact we lost AMM, but we lost BFG also within a month of that. That's a pretty serious blow. I know I, for one, have dropped out of the game entirely for a very long while.

Has the scene itself died? Looking over the activity at DL last Thursday I'd say "no"...what does everyone else think?

I think the scene is a long way from dying. the last two tournaments at DL were packed to capacity, and the Thursday nights I have made it to (only a handful) seemed to have a pretty good turnout. none of the tables were empty all night

I think alot of traffic on AMM was:

super posters like sam and rick
    Discussion of BFG events
    Discussion of BFG rules

Since those are down, the true level of activity on the board is seen.

I would have to agree with that and we have no one raging pretty much. Its just a bunch of mellow gamers. Its one Store in the area and we are trying to incorporate other stores in posting here but its hard because no one wants to break their ways.
