Hello all,
I'm trying to get a feel for how the local gaming venues cater to GW tabletop. I've checked out all their schedules, and they work fine for WHFB, which I also plan to play, but I was trying to fit some time in for 40k, which appears to take place on thursdays. I have odd days off (Tue/Wed) so I'm trying to nail down some good places to find a mid-week game. How strict are the local venues (speaking primarily about DLair, 10th planet, and Wonkos) about their table schedules? Would I be run out or sneered at if I scheduled a pickup game with someone and came in to play on WHFB or warmahordes night? (Assuming there are extra tables available)

Also, how tribal are the patrons? I've never been one for making camps. I tend to go one place one week, and another the next. I live in georgetown, so all three stores are about the same distance from me. Is any one particular store more open to casual regulars as opposed to having a hardcore exclusionary(is that a word?) "clique" attitude?

I'd also be highly interested in any "garage or basement leagues" if there are any of those around here. I prefer the private, casual setting to a store. I played in one back in Abilene and it was great.
