1 CAD required, formations, allies, and detachments may be added once the 1 HQ, 2 Troops requirement for the CAD have been met.
All missions will take place on a warp sensitive world that has terrain that is composed of a mineral that will affect skimmers, grav weapons, jump/jet packs, all units arriving via deep strike, and all flat out/run moves. Generals, you have been warned, be prepared.

If you can't do a CAD that is fine. However, if you do not have a CAD and ally with another force, the allied force will need a CAD, even if they are not the primary detachment.

Those without a CAD do have a base formation. Skitarii have the Maniple , Harlies the Madque. Just have them use those.
