    WM/H Thornwood League

This league begins Monday 18 June and lasts four weeks.

War-Torn Alliance Season 3:Thornwood league will be starting up soon. Here's a heads up for anyone involved (and how to get the shiney!)
    Alliances:
    *- Cygnar/Trollbloods
    *- Protectorate/Cryx (wtf? o.0)
    *- Khador/Retribution
    *- Mercs/Thornfall (pigs)
    *- Circle/Legion
*- Skorne/Blindwater (gators) (sorry Skorne! i don't make the rules)
Season Models and upgrades all look pretty cool.
    Awards are as follows:
Champion Medal- the shiney shiney goes to whoever gets the most points on the scoreboard
Participation -Yay! You're breathing. Here ya go.
Hobby -play 5 seperate games with 5 different fully painted warcasters/warlocks
Combat -play 5 games with 5 different warcasters/warlocks (if you get the hobby one, you'll get this one)
Alliance -play 2 team games (Mangled Metal/Tooth&Claw) with the faction you are allied with
Games only count if they are War-Torn Alliance or Thornwood scenarios!
I really reccomend playing some of the Thornwood scenarios. They appear really fun to play, such as Hellhole with an ever expanding pit of RFP in the center.
If you prefer to play Steamroller scenarios, fear not! We have ways around this. Play the following War-Torn Alliance scenarios:
    War-Torn Alliance Core #1: Occupy = SR2012 #3: Overrun
War-Torn Alliance Alliance Core #2: Boom and Bust = SR2012 #5: Supply and Demand
    War-Torn Alliance Core #6: Encroachment = SR2012 #7: Incursion
    War-Torn Alliance Core #7: Confinement = SR2012 #1: Close Quarters
    -----Scoring-----
Battle points are earned for playing a game of a certain size
    Bonus points are for winning
Map points are for playing a territory on the online map (anyone got a link to this yet, please?)
    Single player games
    15-35pts: single warcaster/warlock: 1 Battle point, 1 Bonus point, 1 Map point
    50-75pts: single warcaster/warlock: 2 Battle points, 1 Bonus point, 1 Map point
    100pt: dual warcaster/warlock: 3 Battle points, 2 Bonus point, 1 Map point
    Unbound
    150pts: three warcaster/warlocks: 4 Battle points, 2 Bonus point, 1 Map point
    200pts: four warcaster/warlocks: 5 Battle points, 2 Bonus point, 1 Map point
Team ---Army points are per player, not per side. (two players bringing 25pts each is a 25pt team game, not a 50pt)
    15-35pts: single warcaster/warlock: 1 Battle point, 1 Bonus point, 1 Map point
    50-75pts: single warcaster/warlock: 2 Battle points, 1 Bonus point, 1 Map point
    100pt: dual warcaster/warlock: 3 Battle points, 2 Bonus point, 1 Map point
    Team Unbound
    150pts: three warcaster/warlocks: 4 Battle points, 2 Bonus point, 1 Map point
    200pts: four warcaster/warlocks: 5 Battle points, 2 Bonus point, 1 Map point

That's about the gist of it. As soon as we get the kit in, I'll be helping Ben run it, so he can actually get some games in,
Thanks for reading this far and I hope this helps simplify the whole deal.
    -Rob.

    *-apologies for any spelling/grammar errors.

The point of the game is having fun. The objective is to win.
