    The 2016 marine

    Ok, $30 for a single mini that is honestly kinda meh might be much.

    But I was thinking, his zero cost for 40k armies is pretty cool, but I think using him as a "make your own" knight errant for 30k. He has an old tech combi-weapon and his armor mark is close to era correct, but I think the fact that he has the unique leg pieces, elbows, and knees make sense that a specialist would get special armor and wargear.

    I don't know if HH 6 has rules for making a knight errant, or if his weapons will work in 30k, but I think I figured out my paint scheme.

    I like it. Book 6 has build-a-knight. You'd probably need to add a ccw of some sort. Knights errant are really cool; almost makes me wish I was loyalist. I was thinking an apothecary librarian with a jump pack.... (they have pretty crazy rules)

    I stopped into DL on Saturday and picked up one. They didn't have Angels of Death, so I drove down to GW. They sold out the two copies they got before I got there, but everyone else was buying the marine, so I got a second one. I put it up on eBay for $45, and it's now up to $74 on ebay. Feel free to drop a bid. Auction ends at 5:25PM today.

    looks pretty good I'm using him for my 30k Raven Guard army either for a veteran marine or a seeker

    problem is that he doesn't get the extra stats of a captain....he has stats of a regular marine and you cannot buy him any upgrade....so it will be a vigilator with ws and bs 4 s and t 4 w 1 initiative 4 and 1 attack w leadership 8
