    Mammoth!

It's coming. not this week, but hopefully by L&L

still have a lot of work to do before it's ready to assemble. 10 days left to finish, plus possibly getting some bases done on my Iron Gauntlet armies.

At any rate, this guy will be on a DL table near you soon!

If yours is as good in play as it it's looking so far, your opponents are in for some trouble ...

Almost ready to assemble the model now. base colors are all done, just need some washes, a few detail areas and some touchups on a few areas. I took some pictures but didn't have time to offload them from the camera. I did take one picture from my phone:

the base is one of the resin bases from http://dragonforge.com/, the broken wasteland series. I started using resin bases for my last army in 40k, and I really like them. it saves me the time of making a terrain base, and the ones I've attempted never looked great. I've done some greenstuff brick for my Skorne models but didn't want to mess with it for a model this big.

So barring any big slowdowns in the next two evenings, this should be completely done by Wednesday night.

    And Done:

Unfortunately the first game on the table ended with the Mammoth dying to Ossyan's army of shooty elves. but not before the Mammoth (under Ossyan's feat turn) took ossyan down to a single health box. slamming your own models FTW.
