    Alternate Models

So I am new both to Warmachine and to gaming in Austin. I have been here a few years and was a 40k player in California. One of the things I liked about 40k was the ease at which you could modify and sub models. How does the WM community here in Austin feel about that?

The model in question is the Khador wardog. I love what the model does but hate the sculpt. I have some extra wolves laying around from when I played Space Wolves and would like to use one of those.

Open gaming, I doubt anyone cares.
Tournament... well, there's guidelines for that sorta thang in the respective rules packet(s)
The point of the game is having fun. The objective is to win.

    ^^

What he said. You can't sub a model for tournament play. As for casual, weekly gaming...it's all good, at least in my opinion.

I doubt there's a casual game where I'm not proxy something. But yeah, tourneys usually require a certain percentage of the model be PP standard issue. That war dog does have a stupid pose though.
