Thread: Family

Hey Everybody,

I know that I have only know some of you for a few weeks, but my Wife and I need a lot of prayers right now. We have two little girls who are foster kids and we want to adopt them. The CPS worker has hate us from day one and we don't know why. This last Friday the CPS worker called us and told us the Friday will be the last court date and the girls are going back! The parents and other family members of the girls smoked meth and weed around the girls. The Three year old was hit in the head by her mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. The parents would feed them when they remember and did not play with them. The family has assault charges for everyone of them. The Mother's father is serving time for assault. The Father has not shown up in 9 months to see the girls. The Mother has been dragging her feet and still has not completed her plan form CPS. Just pray for us this week and Friday.

Good luck man, We'll be praying for you guys... my wife and I have worked a lot in the past with foster children and families, and we know how tough the system can be.

Thank you all for your support and tomorrow is the big day. It is not looking good because the CPS and others in the case are letting the mother slide by with doing stuff half ***! The return rate for kids is 90%. So if we lose them there is a chance big chance we could get them back! These little girls need a better life the what their family can give them. Their family is not the best for these girls and it has crushed me to know that CPS does this knowing that 90% come back, but please keep praying and I will let you all know how tomorrow goes.
