    Hordes plastic kits!

So, in case you guys hadn't seen, Privateer Press has been leaking the plastic multi-kits for Hordes.

    Browse them here: http://privateerpress.com/hordes

The Legion of Everblight kits look pretty good, but the Trollbloods and Circle Orboros ones really sacrifice the individuality of the Pureblood, Mauler and Blitzer models to make the kit. I don't mind it, but I won't be trading my Mauler anytime soon, and I might pick up a Blitzer if I ever need two.

For those who don't know, the characters in Hordes Domination will be upgrade kits on top of these multi-kits, making the new characters cost about $50.

Rok?! An "upgrade" with that ugly plastic sculpt?! Damn, damn, damn. Here I was really excited about him. May have to try to bodger one together.

I'm thinking about giving him a furry backpiece to fix it, but if you want I think you could just chop the head and hand off a Mauler and use that instead. The conversion rules seem to suggest that as long as a character uses all the upgrade bits you can put it on whatever body you want.

I really like the Bomber and Blitzer, but I don't want more than 2 beasts with the exact same body. I like Trolls because none of our beasts look swappable, so this kinda goes against the grain. Remember though, we have to compare it to the other Troll heavies which are some of the best.

    And yet so far...

I'm not entirely sold on the troll kit, but legion looks good and circle's is a HUGE improvement

There might be a Farrow plastic kit, the Road Hog and War Hog look pretty exchangable. No ****ing chance of a Gatorman kit anytime soon though.

plastic kits do help solve the overhang issue, cause you can easily magnetize heads and limbs due to the reduced weight.

The legion kits are a straight up win,its the same design... but buy 3 kits + magnetize == set on heavies for hundreds less.

I think the circle feral looks soooooo much better, the stalker is about the same, pureblood is a little bit of a loss.

Since I'm pretty much playing local and more interested in the modeling/painting, I might have to get creative (or as creative as I can with my limited sculpting ability). How about a Dire Troll Mauler Extreme Rok? Plant a huge axe in his upraised hand (not sure which would actually match this size) and give him some winter troll furry face, and it might get interesting. But then again, you'd be paying for an Extreme ... But he'd probably look pretty cool on the table next to Borka! (especially blackyujiro's )

Ditto on the feral. Will be interesting to see how the Tharn character wolf looks.
