Forgive me for interjecting, but I was under the impression that 30k was a more potent version of 40k. Now, I will be the first to admit that I am a new and inexperienced player (not to mention I have never played a 30k game), but I do have access to all of the 30k supplements that have been released and I do peruse them often. Anyway, to me, it seems that 30k units are indeed more potent than your regular 40k units, but I freely admit I do not have a competitive eye when it comes to unit evaluation and list making. I usually try to stay on the fun and fluffy side of the game regardless. I do not know the rules on here for discussing units and characteristic values (some sites it isn't allowed) so I do not have anything I can post to fortify my opinion, and my opinion will have to suffice. Back to the topic at hand, off the bat and without deep thought the idea of playing against primarchs and infantry/vehicles that in a regular 40k game you either would never encounter or be limited to one as it would be a relic of the armoury but in 30k there would be no such limitations is indeed a scary prospect. I do understand that this is all in the interest of fun and it's purpose is to change things up and I have to commend the tournament manager for his efforts in making the scenarios that he has, but I must admit I am very tentative about the prospect of facing the full force of a Legiones Astartes army with a Primarch at its head. Sorry for being long winded, but I decided to come out of lurking and toss my two cents into the pot.
