    30k in the 40k narrative

This might have just gone too far... If you don't play some form of Legiones Astartes, Grey Knights not included, you get massively F****D. When I play, I want to have fun, not doing something like this. I am sorry to say but this would not be fun in my eyes. The idea that players will now be allowed to play Primarchs or legion characters in normal games vs a 40k list is just wrong... If you wanted to do a 30k game you should have started it like that, not do it mid-year. Just my opinion, but this is a bad idea for if you don't play a legion army it will make the game less fun for anyone not playing a 30k legion list. I felt it necessary to voice this issue because you have new players coming in all the time, and how is it fair to new players that have nothing to try to compete with stuff like this. Things like this is why people stop coming to stores and playing locally. I understand that 30k is becoming more popular, but this is not a way to have people play that system... Like I said before if you wanted to do 30k you should have started it as 30k, not 40k... I am sorry if this comment upsets anyone, but I don't care. This my opinion, and I know that some people will not voice their own opinions because they believe they will upset others.

"The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age."

If you think a primarch is broken you literally have not played 40k in the last 3 years. One of the most powerful close combat primarchs has 4 attacks and moves 6 inches. I didn't know you could use this many words to say " ive never actually read a 30k army list" but you did it. If you would like to actually play a game against a 30k army to see that it is strictly worse in every way to normal space marine i would be more than happy to show you.

A lot of people are collecting 30k armies, but until games get played there is going to be a lot of suspicion about it. I'm a purest and think they should be kept separate, but I also want to see more games played until there are enough armies to have their own event.

The best things a 40k SM army has that don't exist in 30k...

One GT that is throwing everything but the kitchen sink into the mix and another that has changed formats almost every year. It's not like 30K is breaking into the mainstream.

I want to play both. But, I don't want to mix them.

Look the race card is played enough in recent politics. I don't need that crap in my 40K.
