    Community Data, specifically 40k

Branching off from previous thread. Was thinking of ways to get a better handle on numbers regarding 40k players in the area.

Looking for people to submit questions that would be helpful, not particularly comments here. Will compile and try to figure out ways to collect answers from as large a sample as possible.

Specifically (and assume etc.'s on all these), how they categorize themselves (comp., hobby, mix), what types of events they prefer to participate in, what days, if there are any issues that keep them away from certain types of events, any other relevant concerns.

As part of this, want to see if there are suggestions on how such data might be collected (in person, online, on the forum, at events). Or if this is just a stupid pointless exercise because I just like playing around with data.

So, have at. And please, no more pie for now. I already asked for a pie poll thread, since that seems such a popular topic. Maybe the only topic most of us agree on actually.

Just a secondary thought, might be a good idea to separate comments into general issues and game issues, since if the effort ends up being made, may as well try and find out about both.

Specific to game issues, was thinking about trying to figure out what particular NPE people have had and why they felt it was so. No names, just armies, builds, the dirty stuff that people hope never to see again and why. And of the inevitable etc.'s/ not asking for specific comments on this right now, just what questions ought to be asked.

So basically, the What, the Why, and the How. Thanks all.

Decided to try and keep editing in a list of what comes up:
    *days of tournaments
