    Probably just alcohol, water and the pigment. Alcohol and water together I believe create that irregular effect.

    I think its actual iron powder in a solution - if its the recipe I'm thinking of. With a little time and effort I bet you could dupe it.

    I think the funny part is that he put the rust in the joints and stuff...Wouldn't those places be the most likely spots to NOT have rust due to metal on metal moving and such.

    I'd like to use this stuff on Big, flat areas or on weld joints and rivets. cool product for sure.
    with 40k its best to get the rules straight then apply imagination and rationalize; you will only get annoyed doing it the other way round

    I made a batch that worked really well, though I still haven't found anywhere local to buy fine steel wool by itself, I just tried to get all the soap out of a Brillo pad.
